What foods have you made for your little ones?
Do you buy organic? |

I haven't made too many things so far. Apples, pears, sweet potatoes, green beans. I found a cool cookbook for babies/kids that I've been flipping through. It's called "First Meals" by Annabel Karmel. Hopefully it will have some good recipe ideas.
Oh, and yes, I do buy organic. It's pricey, but worth it in my opinion. My baby doesn't need those yucky chemicals. |

Unfortunatly I dont have access to many organic things :( we dont have a natural food store close so I've had to buy some things in jars.
I have made butternut squash, carrots & mashed up banana & avocado.
I bought peas, apples & sweet potatoes in jars this week for us to try over the next couple weeks.
DD just isnt very interested in eating solids yet so I havent been pushing it.
I need to make a trip to a natural food store to get more fruits & veggies to cook up & freeze I guess
Do you freeze alot when you make it? What do you store in? |

| I don't have a stockpile of baby food. My little man really isn't intersted in eating it too much. He does enjoy playing with it though. When I make it, I don't make too much. I have these small tupperware-type containers that I portion it in and freeze. Then I pop them out into baggies. A lot of people use ice cube trays to accomplish the same thing, but we don't have ice cube trays!! |
